Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes! I absolutely love to travel and some of my favorite weddings that I've shot have been on the road!
Will there be a second shooter?
For most weddings, I work on my own or with an assistant as I prefer to be able to blend unobtrusively into the background for much of your day. For certain timelines it does make sense to have a second photographer, in which case I have a select group of professionals that will shoot along side me.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Yes! As you know, I'm a mom of two so the earlier notice, the better! I am happy to accomodate any last minute requests on your big day as much as I can. Obviously pricing would be adjusted, so keep that in mind! I charge an additional $225 an hour for last minute changes.
Do I have to order prints through you?
I'm all about transparency! It's much cheaper for you to order prints on your own. That's why I provide all printing rights with your completed album!
How would you describe your style?
My first and foremost goal is to tell your story in a warm and honest manner so that your photos instantly transport you back to a specific time and place. For me, that means creating a strong sense of space in your gallery, with a focus on timeless portraits, candid laugher and stolen glances, beautiful light and all your important details. Film plays a big role in the style of my work; I look for natural and organic settings, clean light and fresh colors. I have a fine art approach to storytelling, and love to create work that is simple, airy and genuine.
You say you're a natural light photographer - does this mean your don't take photos at night?
I love natural light for all the richness, depth and mood it brings to your day. That said, some of the most important moments of your wedding will happen after the sun has gone down! I always bring off-camera lighting setups for your reception, and can create beautifully light photos no matter the time of day.
How long will it take to get my collection back?
Your fully curated digital collection depends on the session you have. Lifestyle and Portrait sessions are ready between 1-2 weeks. Wedding Photography takes a bit longer and will be ready to see in 4 - 6 weeks! However, I will provide a sneak peak to share with friends and family within a week of your wedding!
